Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos Employment Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Salary: ₦150,000 Net Monthly Years of Experience: 1 Year Job Summary Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support its finance team in Ikeja, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities

Reconcile general ledgers, bank statements, and balance sheets. Analyse financial data and monitor business expenses. Prepare financial statements and reports for management and tax purposes. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Support tax filing and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation. Identify discrepancies, minimise errors, and support effective financial management.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience. Must have completed NYSC (National Youth Service Corps). Ability to analyse and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Good analytical, numerical, and organisational skills. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting tools.
