Choose the best place for your work - within the framework of this position, it is possible, in coordination with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working time. Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You lead global projects for the further development of the export control and customs organization.
  • You accompany and manage export control and customs-related workstreams in group-wide projects and ensure the organizational and procedural implementation of Foreign Trade Compliance.
  • You work closely with the Export Control and Customs management team to assess strategic risks, derive areas for action, and develop sustainable solution approaches.
  • Furthermore, you are in close exchange with the Head of Export Control and Customs to develop and successfully implement global strategy topics.
  • You develop and optimize strategies to ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) and other Export Control & Customs Governance Frameworks.
  • You identify optimization potential and successfully implement corresponding internal improvement projects as well as training measures.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Law (e.g., Customs or Economic Law), or a comparable course of study.
  • You bring many years of relevant professional experience in the field of export control and customs in an internationally active company or an auditing firm.
  • You have sound experience in project management, ideally in the environment of foreign trade or compliance projects, and have successfully managed various stakeholders professionally.
  • You possess practical experience in dealing with relevant IT systems such as SAP GTS, AEB, or DAMEX and bring the willingness to learn new systems.
  • You have knowledge in process management and in the continuous optimization of processes.
  • You have very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially in PowerPoint for creating management presentations as well as in Excel for analyses and evaluations.
