We are looking for an immediate, long-term placement, for 38.5 hours per week, for our customer, Siemens Mobility, for a Material Tester for wheelset assembly in Fürstenfeld.

Your Tasks
- Execution and monitoring of non-destructive material testing (MT, VT, UT, PT)
- Documentation and evaluation of testing results based on applicable standards, regulations, and specifications
- Participation in the creation of testing instructions by transferring NDT standards and specifications into concrete work instructions
- Adjustment of testing equipment as well as control and verification of device settings
- Creation and processing of quality reports (Q-Meldungen)
- Support in the selection of suitable testing techniques, definition of the application areas of the testing method, and initiatives for continuous improvement (SPS)
- Operation of ultrasonic testing systems for testing wheelset shafts
Your Qualification
- Completed apprenticeship examination in the field of materials technology or a metalworking profession (e.g., locksmith, automotive technician,...)
- Certification in NDT testing methods (e.g., VT, MT, PT, UT) according to ISO EN 9712 Level 1, or Level 2 is an advantage
- General basic knowledge in non-destructive material testing
- SAP knowledge
- MS-Office knowledge
- Basic English knowledge
- Willingness to work in shifts
Your Perspective
Depending on specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross monthly salary of at least EUR 3,551.59 is provided (this exceeds the collective agreement minimum wage in any case). The final wage agreement will be made during a personal interview.
