Electrical Site Installation Engineer

In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the installation is carried out in accordance with what has been sold to the customer. You will work closely with and actively supervise the responsible contractor performing the installation. Your support, presence, and guidance are vital to maintaining our high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will maintain contact with the customer and the Swedish project team, as well as perform administrative and logistical tasks. The electrical installation work typically refers to the gas turbine unit and associated systems (noise hood, ventilation, air intake, etc.). This role provides you with an exciting and challenging work environment where you can deepen your technical knowledge while simultaneously developing your leadership skills. How You will make an impact: You will undergo extensive training to meet the requirements for obtaining a role certificate as an Electrical Site Installation Engineer. The training starts with a theoretical and practical part in Finspång and then continues together with a mentor out on site. In the role of certified Electrical Site Installation Engineer, you will hold a central position on site, where you actively work to support the customer and the customer's local installation companies. You ensure that processes and directives are followed. Conduct inspections and approve completed electrical installations as well as prepare for handover to commissioning. The execution of commissioning is then carried out by colleagues from Siemens Energy. Work internationally during periods of 6 to 12 weeks, with up to 250 travel days per year.

What You bring: It is meritorious if you have experience in electrical installations, preferably from roles such as electrician, service technician, or fitter within industries such as construction and civil engineering, energy and power production, etc. Your practical understanding of electrical systems and installation work is a valuable asset in the position. Strong skills in communicating clearly and effectively with both colleagues and customers. The ability to quickly identify and solve problems that may arise. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements in the workplace. The ability to work effectively in international and multicultural teams. Good English skills, both oral and written. Practical knowledge of a third language is valuable and can be of great benefit in our international work.

The requirements for the position: must have Swedish or EU citizenship, reside in Sweden, and be registered in the Swedish social insurance system.
