Senior Android Developer (Mobile)

Responsibilities and assignments Act in the entire software development cycle, from requirements analysis and architecture definition to coding, testing, maintenance, and evolution of solutions. Develop and maintain quality code, investigate and correct defects, implement improvements and changes requested by internal and external clients, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with technical teams and clients in defining requirements and scope, produce technical documentation, integrate and validate deliveries through version control and unit tests, and act in an agile environment, following architecture and development best practices. Contribute to technological innovation, performing technical investigations, proposing new ideas, process improvements, and initiatives that can generate patents. Technically support partners and colleagues, share knowledge, estimate efforts, identify technical risks, and contribute to the technical excellence and quality of SiDi projects, including eventual participation in work activities and trips for collaboration with external teams.
Requirements and qualifications What we expect from you: Proven experience with Java and Kotlin Proven experience in Android SDK (mainly with Activities, BroadcastReceivers, ContentProviders). Experience with Android Jetpack Components. Experience in creating Services in Android. Knowledge of design patterns and architectures such as MVC or MVVM Experience in solutions that have communication with other applications. Experience in databases (SQL and NoSQL). Knowledge of unit tests. Basic notions of application security and privacy.
Academic Background: Degree completed in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or related areas.
Languages: Advanced English for reading, writing, and conversation.
What will be a differentiator: Knowledge in indexing and search with Apache Lucene. Knowledge in performance analysis and application optimization. Experience with search and indexing solutions Practical experience with Apache Lucene Knowledge of search quality metrics (precision, recall, MRR/NDCG, etc.) Fluent English for conversation is a differentiator given the international partner.
Additional information Position for Manaus/AM, in a hybrid contract modality, considering candidates with availability to move cities.
