Mid-Level Data Scientist

In your day-to-day, the professional will work with data from various sources and of the most diverse types, building solutions through data analysis techniques, machine learning models, reports, and dashboards.
Responsibilities and assignments Participate in the creation and validation of business hypotheses based on data. Participate in the creation, alteration, and proposal of the use of algorithms and tools for data analysis and transformation. Execute exploratory data analysis (EDA) with the generation of executive reports. Extract hypotheses and insights (through data) that collaborate with project objectives. Implement services for managing large amounts of data from diverse sources. Participate in the creation of data repositories and/or data architecture (structured databases, unstructured, data lake, etc.). Participate in the creation of complex queries in an optimized manner (sql, non-sql, etc.), in terms of access speed, computational performance, maintainability, etc. Develop experiments/notebooks specialized in training Machine Learning models. Provide data visualization for different types of audiences (operational, strategic, managerial, etc.). Work together with project development teams, aligning system/service architecture with data analysis needs. Share and disseminate knowledge with project teams. Assist the commercial team in meetings with clients to understand requirements.
Requirements and qualifications Experience in software development (requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and solution deployment). Experience in agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc). Experience in version control tools such as GIT, SVN, etc. Experience in programming languages (Python, Ruby, etc). Knowledge in machine learning (Machine Learning, Deep Learning). Knowledge in complex data mining - SQL, NoSQL, etc. Knowledge in Statistics applied to Data Science. Knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, etc). Knowledge in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc). Knowledge in Generative AI. Experience in Feature Engineering. Experience in development and training of AI models (with synthetic and real data). Experience in writing technical reports and storytelling. Good communication skills for technical presentations to clients and partners. Availability for national and international travel.
Languages: Intermediate English
Academic Background Degree in areas of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics and/or related areas.
