MS Software Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Software Solutions Architect to act in a hybrid manner between technical pre-sales and project execution. The professional will participate in technical meetings and conversations with clients for requirements gathering, evaluation of implementation options, and preparation of the technical-commercial proposal. They will take a leading role in building end-to-end software solutions, including products that incorporate artificial intelligence. During periods when not involved in pre-sales activities, they will act actively in projects, contributing with architecture, development, technical support, and team mentoring.

Responsibilities and assignments

Technical pre-sales and client relationship

• Actively participate in technical pre-sales meetings and conversations with potential clients for requirements gathering;
• Identify implementation options and support the choice of the best solutions, considering the schedule and required quality level;
• Prepare the technical-commercial proposal;
• Negotiate critical technical aspects with clients;
• Identify resource needs (hardware, software, people) and training according to the proposed solutions;
• Communicate with internal and external partners to clarify doubts and obtain technical information necessary for the solutions.

Software architecture and development

• Define and propose software architectures for different projects, being responsible for the architectural quality of the solutions;
• Actively contribute to the construction of end-to-end software solutions, from conception to production delivery, including products that incorporate artificial intelligence components — ML/AI models, LLMs, data pipelines, and related integrations;
• Participate in technical meetings with clients throughout the projects, representing the team in discussions of requirements, architecture decisions, scope alignments, and presentation of results;
• Lead discussions and decisions that affect architecture and design, evaluating alternatives, pros, cons, and future impacts on the project;
• Actively participate in software development for new products and applications, recommending improvements in process, performance, and efficiency. Implement source code meeting functional and non-functional requirements (robustness, portability, security, maintainability), following software engineering best practices;
• Implement or adapt existing requirements due to changes in software or hardware platforms.

Technical support and team mentoring

• Support the technical team in resolving critical and high-complexity problems through code analysis, technical standards, and technology studies;
• Guide and technically supervise other developers, fostering good coding practices (clarity, maintainability, robustness);
• Serve as a technical reference, clarifying doubts about concepts and requirement implementation;
• Guide the team in software defect analysis (bugs), root cause identification, and definition of fixes;
• Define technical training scope and support the manager in identifying team training needs.

Documentation and technical communication

• Prepare technical documentation of requirements, implementation details, concepts used, and test cases for validation;
• Generate technical reports and presentations suitable for each audience, including executive reports for management;
• Share relevant information about new requirements with testing teams, project managers, and other stakeholders;
• Actively participate in meetings in English, in-person or remote, leading technical discussions and decisions.

Risk and process management

• Evaluate risks throughout the project (implementation delays, tool failures, among others) and communicate them to leaders and managers;
• Analyze change requests from internal and external clients, evaluating technical feasibility, source code, and the impact of changes;
• Provide technical support to project managers in scope analysis, risks, estimates, and strategic planning;
• Support the manager in defining and optimizing team processes, based on the analysis of workflow and results.

Innovation

• Propose new ideas and participate in innovation activities, including the submission of patent proposals;
• Coordinate checks to avoid infringement of third-party patents;
• Monitor technological trends related to the technical areas of the projects.

Other activities

• Participate in planning, allocation, and general project activities, following HR and management guidelines;
• Participate in national and/or international business trips representing the team in knowledge transfer activities;
• Occasionally act in an integrated manner as an instructor and mentor in educational training programs, offered online and live, with a strong practical emphasis and real market examples.

As an instructor in training programs

• Structure the syllabus and the course workload;
• Prepare the teaching material in the official template;
• Conduct interactive classes;
• Demonstrate tools and concepts applied to the area;
• Record attendance and evaluate students regarding grades, frequency, and soft skills;
• Consolidate and deliver the final report to the coordination.

Requirements and qualifications

• Advanced communication for better understanding of requirement requests from potential clients, as well as for passing technical knowledge to the team;
• Software Architecture and solution definition;
• Experience or solid knowledge in the development of end-to-end software solutions, including products with artificial intelligence components (ML/AI models, LLMs, AI APIs, data pipelines, or similar);
• Systemic vision of problems and processes;
• High degree of creativity and initiative for innovative ideas and solutions;
• Personal organization to perform work quickly and efficiently;
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages, as well as software analysis and implementation;
• Advanced knowledge in algorithms and programming design patterns;
• Fluency in technical documentation writing techniques;
• Software development process;
• Knowledge of concepts and preparation of test cases.

Academic Background

• Completed degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related areas.

Languages:

• Advanced English for reading, writing, and conversation.
