Senior IT Analyst

We are looking for a new sidier to act strategically and operationally in the Institute's IT support. This professional will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the technological environment, constantly evaluating the performance of the IT environment, proposing improvements in order to anticipate eventual problems that may affect users. They will support users and the institute's infrastructure, taking on responsibilities and supporting the development of the team and the team's processes. The professional will be part of the Service Desk team and will have the support of the centralized headquarters structure, interacting with the Infrastructure, Systems, Internal Development, and Information Security teams whenever necessary.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Provide advanced technical support in networks (wired and wireless), hardware, software, and IT infrastructure
• Administer and offer support to Windows Server and Linux environments, including servers and client machines
• Manage and maintain services such as Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Ensure information security in the local environment, following IT policies and best practices
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and repair of notebooks and IT equipment
• Administer the local Data Center environment, ensuring its availability and performance
• Act as a technical reference and support the local Service Desk team
• Manage relationships with suppliers and IT service contracts
• Support the acquisition processes of assets and technological solutions
• Participate in projects for the development, implementation, and improvement of IT solutions
• Contribute to the implementation and use of Artificial Intelligence tools in the corporate environment
• Act according to IT Governance practices, including ITIL
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, standards, and procedures

Requirements and qualifications What we expect from you:

• Solid experience in support and administration of corporate IT environments
• Experience with user support in a corporate environment
• Experience with supplier management, contracts, and IT SLA
• Networks (TCP/IP, switching, and wireless)
• Operating systems (Windows Server and Linux)
• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365
• Information Security
• Data Center Administration
• Knowledge in ITIL and/or COBIT

Academic Background:

• Completed Higher Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas

Languages:

• Intermediate English for reading, writing, and conversation.

What will be a differentiator:

• Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Linux, or Networks
• Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence tools
• Advanced/Fluent English
