We are looking for a professional to work on the development of new businesses and strategic partnerships for SiDi in the Northeast Region, with autonomy to represent the institution in external relationships, prospecting, and institutional articulation. The position will work directly with the unit's executive management, being responsible for providing market insights, mapping the local ecosystem, and providing strategic recommendations that support the unit's commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities and assignments

  • Act with autonomy in the development of new businesses and strategic partnerships for SiDi in the Northeast Region.
  • Build and maintain a strategic reading of the market and the local innovation ecosystem, guiding the unit's executive management.
  • Represent the institution independently in external relationships, prospecting, and high-level institutional articulation (companies, government, associations, funding agencies). Identify, evaluate, and prioritize calls for proposals, strategic calls, and innovation funding instruments, with recommendations on positioning.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of partnership and project proposals, including complex technical-commercial proposals, together with the technical areas.
  • Act as a senior interface between the market and internal areas, translating business demands into technical direction and vice versa.
  • Structure, maintain, and report the pipeline of opportunities and initiatives in the region with an analytical vision (not just operational updates).
  • Contribute to the definition of the unit's commercial strategy, proposing directions and priorities to the executive management.
  • Support and, when necessary, guide mid-level/junior analysts in prospecting and articulation activities.
  • Expand SiDi's institutional presence in the region and increase effectiveness in prospecting and opportunity conversion.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Experience in business development, prospecting, institutional relationships, strategic partnerships, or complex consultative sales.
  • Proven experience acting with autonomy in conducting your own activities, with strong capacity for initiative, organization, and structuring your own work.
  • Solid experience with calls for proposals and innovation funding instruments (mandatory, not just a plus).
  • History of building high-level institutional relationships (C-level, government, sector associations).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to structure executive argumentation.
  • Strong capacity for negotiation, institutional articulation, and management of complex stakeholders.
  • Advanced familiarity with technology, innovation, and digital transformation topics.

Academic Background

  • Completed degree in Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or related areas.
