General Manager

Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to take full charge of our construction business operations in Singapore. You will oversee project delivery, manpower management, commercial & contract matters, and ensure full compliance with MOM, BCA and local construction regulations.

1. Lead overall construction business, including tendering, project planning, execution, progress monitoring, cost control, quality assurance and final handover.
2. Manage foreign workforce (WP / SP / EP), manpower allocation, quota planning, levy, dormitory arrangement, and resolve onsite labour issues.
3. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, BCA and MOM for approvals, inspections and regulatory compliance.
4. Drive workplace safety, implement risk assessment, reduce accident rates and maintain safety records.
5. Review contracts, variation orders, progress claims, payment collection and control project profitability.
6. Lead site managers, engineers, supervisors and admin teams; set KPIs, conduct performance review and team development.
7. Develop business opportunities, maintain client relationships and explore new construction projects.
8. Handle site disputes, emergency incidents, work stoppage and industrial relations matters.
