MAIN TASKS
- Your task package is operational and entails the following responsibilities: you are responsible for the smooth flow of service and the delivery & take-out orders.
- You ensure that every customer gets an unforgettable experience and guide the team by teaching them what hospitality means to us and why this is important.
- You are responsible for the correct opening and closing of the restaurant. You coordinate and supervise the activities of the employees in the kitchen and dining area; you give them clear work instructions so that everyone knows exactly what is expected of him/her before, during, and after service.
- During service, you work at various workstations; you know all workstations in the kitchen and in the dining area.
- You prepare MEP according to the expected busy periods.
- You check workstations and activities in accordance with procedures and working methods; you signal deviations.
- You check the preservation and storage of food products; monitor quality, service, and hygiene.
- You ensure that the team strictly adheres to the HACCP rules.
- You ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure that the dining area, bar, and kitchen remain organized at all times. Clean tables, floor, toilets, and dishwashing are also part of this.
- You train new employees: you explain the various workstations, the technology, and the working methods; you are responsible for the training (on-the-job training).
- You handle day-to-day ordering and ensure that foodcost and waste remain under control.
- You check the delivery against the delivery note and ensure correct storage according to the FIFO principle.
- Some colleagues speak only English. Therefore, we expect you to be able to express yourself well in this language.
- You have no problems with weekend work.
