Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of civil and construction works. Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule. Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other relevant parties. Review construction drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications. Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of works. Coordinate material requirements, deliveries and usage at project sites. Prepare site progress reports, work schedules, method statements and other project documentation as required. Attend site meetings, coordination meetings and inspections. Coordinate with subcontractors and workers to ensure proper execution of site works. Ensure works comply with relevant safety requirements, project specifications and applicable regulations. Assist the Project Manager with project planning, progress monitoring and completion of works. Assist with testing, inspections, rectification works and project handover. Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline . Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering, construction or site/project coordination. Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications. Good knowledge of construction processes and site coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software is an advantage. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and as part of a project team. Willing to work at project sites and travel between project locations when required.
