Sia is looking for a Senior Consultant - Manager for the Milan and/or Rome offices to be included in software development projects, IT delivery process organization, and digital transformation, with vertical knowledge of LLM and AI applied to software development. Projects will involve the following intervention themes: Software Development Life Cycle: optimization of end-to-end processes, enhanced by the adoption of LLM and generative AI; Engineering & Delivery Management: management of development teams, code quality standards, and software project governance; CI/CD & ALM: automation of the software lifecycle with the main market tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab). There will also be the possibility to contribute proactively to the growth and development of the Service Line through workshops, publications, market analysis, and participation in seminars and thematic events.
Educational background: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Engineering, or equivalent technical-scientific disciplines. Required experience: 4-8 years of experience gained in leading consulting firms, software houses, or IT structures of multinational companies. Participation in assessment, design, and transformation programs of the software development cycle and related IT operating models. Experience in the adoption of AI/GenAI in the development cycle (i.e., business requirement analysis, use case portfolio, development, and measurement of benefits). Experience in coordinating IT teams, vendors, and system integrators, monitoring progress, quality, risks, dependencies, and performance. Hard skills: In-depth knowledge of SDLC processes: demand, analysis, development, testing, release, service mgmt. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies from an AI/GenAI perspective in terms of LLM adoption models and related tools/platforms. Mastery of methodologies for designing and optimizing IT Target Operating Models and related processes. Excellent stakeholder management, problem solving, communication, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams, also in international contexts. Basic knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, Test Automation, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and related management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab). Soft skills: Enthusiasm and proactivity Analytical and synthesis skills Teamwork attitude Strong orientation to problem solving Language skills: professional use of the English language; knowledge of French or any other language is considered a plus.
