Sia Partners is looking for an Associate Consultant / Consultant - Data Scientist / AI Engineer to be included in digital transformation projects in Italy or abroad within the global Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Business Line. At Sia Partners, the AI&DS team not only develops and applies its own expertise in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, but also deals with understanding phenomena related to our Clients' Business to guide them toward complex digital transformation projects such as journey to cloud, advanced computation systems, and complex architectures. Our goal is to extract information from complexity to enable our Clients to make strategic decisions. The selected person will be responsible for: Developing Artificial Intelligence solutions within projects for the reference Clients Understanding the main technologies supporting digital transformation projects Guiding Clients in understanding the risks/opportunities of transformation projects, identifying the most suitable tools to design target architectures Using their technical experience in client/consulting environments to contribute to the generation of business insights useful for decision-making In addition to projects, the resource will be required to contribute to internal research and development activities, the ideation of new solutions, use cases, and business development activities.
The indispensable requirements to join our team are: Master's Degree in STEM disciplines First experience in data science and AI roles and/or functions Knowledge of the main ML and GenAI algorithms and the main technologies to support transformation processes Knowledge and experience in using one or more of the following languages: Python (mandatory), R, Matlab, Java Knowledge of at least one cloud-based AI service among SageMaker, VertexAI, and AzureML Knowledge of structured and unstructured databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, ..) Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) Professional knowledge of the English language Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to present results to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong interpersonal skills that allow the resource to work in teams and collaborate with colleagues from international offices Adaptability and flexibility Curiosity
