TRUCK DRIVER

SIA "HGMV ACADEMY" reg. No.: 40103619444, a job transition service provider, invites truck drivers to apply for work.

DUTIES

• Carefully perform international road transport of various goods (in Latvia, Europe, and Scandinavian countries) using a truck and semi-trailer in accordance with the employer's or client's instructions, observing the Road Traffic Rules, work and rest regimes, as well as the CMR convention rules and other regulatory requirements related to transport;
• Ensure the technical condition of the truck tractor and semi-trailer (perform regular inspections and, upon detecting any defects, propose repairs);
• Monitor the loading, securing, and covering of cargo;
• Replace a damaged wheel if necessary;
• Follow all dispatcher instructions.

Requirements for candidates

• Category CE driving license or its CSDD-recognized analog;
• English language at a conversational level and the ability to read and write in it. English is required so that the driver can communicate with clients, cargo warehouse personnel, and state authority employees (including police, transport inspection, customs officers, etc.) within the European Union and EEA territory;
• Experience in the position of a truck and semi-trailer driver;
• High sense of responsibility and precision;
• A careful attitude towards equipment and other material assets.
