Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI-assisted testing)

Currently, we are looking for a QA with a strong focus on automation and AI tooling. You will operate at the intersection of test analysis, test architecture, and AI-assisted testing – from deciding what and at what level to test, to verifying the outputs of AI agents.

What will be your responsibilities? Test analysis – breaking down requirements and risks into scenarios, test cases, and Gherkins.

Deciding what belongs at the unit/integration test level, what belongs at the FE component test level, and what truly needs to be tested via Cypress E2E.

Verifying the outputs of AI agents – ensuring tests make sense and cover negative and edge-case scenarios.

Working on tooling for test analysis and generating tests using AI.

Monitoring test coverage, flaky tests, and the stability of the test suite.

Working with the stack: PHPUnit, Codeception, Vitest, Testing Library, Cypress, Jira + Xray, GitHub Actions, Cursor, and Claude Code.

What do we expect from you? At least 5 years of commercial experience with automated testing.

Strong test analysis skills and a good understanding of the testing pyramid.

Practical experience with automated testing, ideally Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.

The ability to read and evaluate PHP tests, even if you don't write them yourself.

A desire to work with AI-assisted testing – assigning tasks to agents, checking their outputs, and further fine-tuning them.

Independence, good judgment, and the ability to think about what makes sense to test and at which level.

Experience with writing PHP tests, mutation testing, or test impact analysis is an advantage.

Experience with e-commerce is an advantage.

English at B2 level.
