Quality Engineer

Hull Up to £40,000 Permanent

Shillito Group are working with an established manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Quality Engineer.

This is a hands on quality role, working across production, engineering and supply chain to help maintain standards, investigate issues and improve processes.

The role

Investigating non conformances and quality issues Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions Supporting internal and external audits Maintaining and improving the QMS Working with suppliers on quality performance Supporting inspections, product verification and new projects Helping drive continuous improvement across the business

What they're looking for

• Previous experience in a Quality role within manufacturing
• Good understanding of ISO 9001
• Experience with audits, non-conformances and root cause analysis
• Comfortable working with engineering and production teams
• A practical, problem-solving approach
• Experience within engineering, marine, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be useful, but isn't essential.
