Facility Engineer

Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance and repairs of building systems like lighting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roller shutters, HVAC, etc.

Handle all renovation and fit-out projects of the company’s stores, office and warehouse using light gauge steel joists, gypsum finishing etc.

Coordinate third-party contractors for specialized repairs and facility improvements.

Effective management of budgets and Inventory/project resources; tracking maintenance expenses and optimizing spare parts inventory.

Use AutoCAD to design, update, and manage floor plans, fixture placements, and traffic flow diagrams for renovation/ fit-out projects.

Compile project specifications and supervise tendering procedures.

Ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Maintaining accurate digital documentation of facility blueprints, as-built drawings, and equipment maintenance logs.

Energy Management ; optimize power usage and LED retrofits to lower the high utility overhead typical of retail footprints. Ensure compliance with local building codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Carry out all other engineering-related duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience A minimum of a degree in a related field
