ICT Consultant

Job Summary

Develop and implement IT system concepts and technical solutions aligned with project and client requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and review IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT system concepts, designs, and technical solutions based on project and client requirements
• Prepare IT system architecture, network diagrams, layouts, riser diagrams, and technical drawings to support project execution
• Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules, BOQ/BOM, and tender documents for procurement and project planning
• Design and recommend suitable IT infrastructure and technology solutions to meet client needs and industry standards
• Coordinate IT design with architects, M&E consultants, AV consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure integration and alignment
• Review and evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, equipment proposals, and material submissions for compliance and quality
• Provide technical advice on network infrastructure, structured cabling, Wi-Fi, server rooms, data centres, and IT systems to support project delivery
• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues
• Review installation, testing, commissioning, and system performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards
• Review as-built drawings, test reports, operation manuals, and handover documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Keep up to date with the latest IT infrastructure, networking technologies, standards, and industry practices to maintain technical expertise

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in structured cabling, LAN/WAN, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, server rooms, data centres, IP systems, cybersecurity, unified communications, IoT, and smart building technologies
• Certification from well-known manufacturers is a plus
