AV Consultant
Position: AV Consultant
Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant working experience as an AV Consultant, AV Project Engineer, AV System Engineer, or similar role.
Scope of Work
- Develop AV system concepts, designs, and technical solutions based on project and client requirements.
- Prepare AV system schematics, equipment layouts, riser diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules, BOQ/BOM, and tender documents.
- Review AV requirements and recommend suitable equipment, systems, and technologies.
- Coordinate AV design with architects, M&E consultants, interior designers, IT consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate technical submissions, shop drawings, equipment proposals, and material submissions.
- Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination meetings.
- Provide technical advice and resolve AV-related design and coordination issues.
- Review installation, testing, commissioning, and system performance to ensure compliance with design and specifications.
- Review as-built drawings, test reports, operation manuals, and handover documentation.
- Keep up to date with the latest AV technologies, standards, and industry practices.
Preferred Experience
Experience in audio systems, video conferencing, displays, LED/LCD systems, digital signage, DSP, control systems, projection, IPTV, streaming, and integrated AV systems will be an advantage. AVIXA CTS Certification will be plus.
