Freelance Merchandiser Coordinator

ShelfPerfect is looking for a Freelance Merchandiser Coordinator to support and manage our growing network of freelance merchandisers.

ShelfPerfect helps brands improve their in-store execution by using a flexible network of freelance merchandisers who visit retail stores, check products, replenish shelves, take photos, and complete merchandising tasks through our app.

What you’ll do

You will be the main point of contact for our freelance merchandisers and help ensure that store visits are completed correctly and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruitment: Help recruit and onboard new freelance merchandisers.
• Freelancer communication: Communicate with merchandisers through WhatsApp, phone, or other channels and answer day-to-day questions.
• Task coordination: Help make sure store visits are assigned and completed according to schedule.
• Task review: Review submitted tasks, photos, and information to ensure the work meets ShelfPerfect's quality standards.
• Training: Explain merchandising requirements and help new freelancers understand how to complete their tasks correctly.
• Issue resolution: Follow up when visits are missed, information is incomplete, or freelancers encounter problems in stores.
• Operations support: Work closely with the ShelfPerfect regional team to improve completion rates and service quality.

Requirements

• Strong communication and people-management skills
• Comfortable communicating with many freelancers on a daily basis
• Organised and able to follow up on multiple tasks at the same time
• Comfortable using mobile apps, spreadsheets, and online communication tools
• Reliable, proactive, and able to solve operational problems independently
• Experience in retail, merchandising, recruitment, operations, field-team coordination, or gig-worker management is an advantage, but not essential.
