SERVICE ENGINEER – COMMERCIAL KITCHEN, REFRIGERATION & ELECTRICAL

The successful candidate will be responsible for: installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial equipment. Direct engagement with new and existing clients, preparation of service contracts and reports, and conducting service-related workshops

  Electrical

Diagnose and repair electrical faults on commercial equipment. Work on single- and three-phase electrical systems. Troubleshoot motors, contactors, relays, heating elements, sensors and control circuits. Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Carry out electrical testing using appropriate test equipment.

Refrigeration

Service and maintain cold rooms, freezers and refrigerated counters. Diagnose compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion systems and controllers. Carry out leak detection, evacuation and refrigerant charging. Service ice machines, blast chillers and other commercial refrigeration equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks.

Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Install, commission and maintain commercial cooking equipment. Troubleshoot combi ovens, fryers, grills, cooking ranges and dishwashers. Experience with Rational or similar professional cooking equipment will be an advantage.

Gas/LPG

Install, inspect and troubleshoot commercial LPG systems and appliances. Work with regulators, gas trains, solenoid valves, burners and safety systems. Carry out safe testing and commissioning of commercial gas equipment. Identify gas-related faults and recommend corrective action.

Service & Customer Support

Attend customer breakdowns promptly. Prepare detailed service reports after every visit. Prepare repair recommendations and parts requirements. Provide preventive-maintenance recommendations. Maintain professional relationships with clients. Support equipment demonstrations and customer training where required. We are looking for someone who is: Hands-on and technically confident. Willing to learn new equipment and technologies. Comfortable working under pressure.
