Tactical Satcom Engineer - Presales

A telecommunications company in Petah Tikva is looking for a Tactical Satcom Engineer - Presales to plan and define satellite communication solutions in accordance with the technical and operational requirements of customers.

Job Description:

• Analyzing customers' technical and operational requirements and converting them into an engineering solution.
• Planning SATCOM architectures and solutions, with an emphasis on tactical systems.
• Working with RF systems, antennas, modems, networks, and communication equipment.
• Selecting equipment and technologies and adapting them to project requirements.
• Preparing technical proposals, specifications, and solutions for tenders and business opportunities.
• Ongoing work with customers, sales personnel, vendors, and Project Delivery and Operations & Support teams.
• Participation in technical presentations, demonstrations, testing, and Proof of Concept (PoC).
• Supporting the sales process from the initial stage of understanding customer requirements to defining the solution and handing it over for execution.
• Familiarization with and learning of new technologies, products, and solutions in the world of SATCOM and tactical communications.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Engineering – Electrical, Computer, or a relevant engineering field.
• * 4-5 years of experience in the field.
• High technical and analytical ability.
• Ability for independent learning and a desire to learn and develop in a complex technological field.
• Very good English level – writing and speaking.
• Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal communication.

Advantage

• Previous experience in the SATCOM field, specifically Tactical / Military SATCOM.
• Experience or knowledge in the fields of RF, Networking, or Telecommunications.
• Previous experience in Presales or Solution Design.
• Familiarity with satellite communication equipment and systems.
