Laboratory Lead Supervisor - Moquegua (Mining)

On behalf of our client in the southern zone, we are looking for a Chemical Laboratory Supervisor.

Direct the personnel in charge of daily operations to ensure the quality of work, providing administrative and technical direction, complying with established policies, standards, and procedures regarding safety, environment, health, and quality. Detect and eliminate systematic process errors that could compromise analysis results. Generate corrective and/or preventive actions as the case may be. Schedule and distribute the work of the personnel under their charge, according to client priorities and required work situations. Validate analysis reports and provide conformity for them under the quality criteria established by the Laboratory. Authorize the issuance of the test report in Lims. Coordinate the timely supply of inputs and supplies for the development of Laboratory activities. Ensure minimum stocks of materials and reagents to ensure the continuity of operations. Perform the evaluation of PPEs and the state of tools to provide conformity regarding their use. Permanently identify and report to the Laboratory Manager the accidents, incidents, substandard acts, and conditions observed during the development of operations or various assigned activities. Perform the verification of the handover of instructions to the incoming shift personnel to guarantee the continuity of the tasks to be performed in the Laboratory.

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions. Driver's license from A1 onwards. Knowledge of sampling, sample preparation, and chemical analysis. Analytical knowledge in wet chemistry, volumetric, and gravimetric analysis methods. Intermediate English. Quality management system ‐ NTP‐ISO/IEC 17025. Knowledge of current mining legislation. Knowledge in handling AA, ICP, ( FRX, DRX Desirable), etc. equipment. Have experience in validating and reporting analysis under the NTP-ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Ability to work in a team and effective communication.
