Objectives Responsible for executing projects related to "Automotive Electronics Software Function Testing." Content includes discussing product specifications with customers, confirming customer requirements, evaluating testing technologies, evaluating testing equipment, performing man-hour estimation, executing project details, producing test reports, etc. Able to independently execute the test development planning for customer automotive electronics product software functions, be proficient in operating hardware and software equipment/tools, write test programs that meet customer requirements, organize and produce data, and write reports. If outsourcing is required, must be able to manage outsourcing vendors and the effectiveness of solutions, and integrate them into the test reports provided to customers. Responsible for setting up and maintaining the test platform related to "Automotive Electronics Software Function Testing" projects, and maintaining the scalability, reusability, and maintainability of hardware and software equipment and peripherals.
Role & Responsibility Plan Writing: Develop test plans based on customer requirements; if there is outsourced assistance, the outsourced plan must be integrated and finally submitted to the Technical PM for review. Test Execution: After project initiation, carry out hardware and software environment setup and execute testing services. Outsourcing Management: Regularly discuss or report testing status with the execution team and outsourcing vendors. Report Production: Produce test reports and results based on execution content; if there is outsourced assistance, the outsourced test results must be integrated and finally submitted to the Technical PM for review.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES List the service goals and items for "Automotive Electronics Software Function Testing"; need to understand the latest technologies being researched in the industry, including proposing service basic definitions from a technical perspective, expanding service content or value-added content, shaping the form of successful solutions, and developing strategic partnerships. Responsible for the execution of service solutions involving planning, progress, execution, anticipating problems, and solving problems; continuously monitor project progress during the project execution process and report to the management team. Must be responsible for managing customer information requirements, service solution proposals, problem management, and effective problem-solving to achieve efficiency improvements and management of the product testing requirements entrusted by customers; must fulfill project schedule plans for the organization.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science or Engineering (with a technical background or equivalent), preferably in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Management. 3+ years of experience in the automotive supply chain, preferably with experience in system product design or testing. English proficiency in reading and writing is required. Ability to interact with various levels of management, consultants, and customers; ability to negotiate in a matrix organization and have a high credibility record. Open communication skills; ability to coordinate, follow, and motivate teams to achieve common goals. Able to work independently and coordinate multiple complex testing items simultaneously. Make judgments and take actions according to SGS Ethics and Integrity standards. Familiar with the automotive industry V-model development process; familiarity with ISO 26262 is preferred. Familiar with NI PXI equipment and related software tool interfaces, test programs, and experience in writing automation scripts. Possess experience in CarSim, CarMaker, or ASM vehicle model development or application. Possess SIL/HIL verification experience is preferred; reference software platforms: NI VeriStand, OPAL-RT. Experience in automotive electronics software function development projects, algorithm development, or simulation testing projects. Possess experience in control system design; reference tools: C/C++, Python, Matlab, Simulink, TargetLink, LabVIEW, VeriStand, TestStand.
