The SGS Group established SGS Far East Notary Co., Ltd. in Taiwan in 1952, establishing branch offices in the three major cities of Taipei, Keelung, and Kaohsiung in the early stages. To meet the needs of domestic industrial upgrading and internationalization, Taiwan Inspection Technology Co., Ltd. was established in May 1991 to expand the provision of professional testing and technical services. In 2016, Cheng Chih Technology Co., Ltd. joined the SGS Group, making services in the electronic and electrical field in Taiwan more complete.

- Execute project research and R&D in new fields
- Study international relevant laws and regulations to align with testing execution, and complete the writing of test reports
- Communicate with customers, and formulate customized testing content, methods, and processes according to customer needs
- Execute tasks related to ISO 17025 laboratory quality
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors
