PR - JUNIOR OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Main Responsibilities Plan, direct, supervise, and technically and administratively control all required field operations assigned to them. Reports to Operations Coordinator, Operations Leader Supervisor, Operations Chief, Operations Director Specific Responsibilities Guarantee that the planning of required field monitoring activities is carried out in an organized and controlled manner.
Optimize the proper use and maintenance of work equipment and promptly inform the Direct Chief of any damage or anomalies occurring in the operation of the equipment under their charge.
Guarantee compliance with technical, administrative, and quality standards and procedures applicable to their area at the worksite.
Ensure that the necessary work elements or consumables are available to ensure the normal development of the operation under their charge.
Ensure the proper use of materials and consumables received for the operation, ensuring their appropriate and efficient use.
Guarantee the truthful, fast, and timely delivery of necessary information to both internal and external customers.
Ensure the proper handling of all equipment under their charge.
Ensure that the necessary technical support is available for the proper functioning of the computer equipment and information security.
Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area
Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of work
Ensure timely information to their immediate supervisor regarding any non-conforming product in their process or any customer complaint and/or claim
Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement plans.
Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
Prepare quotations and perform the respective follow-up.
Visit current and potential customers.
Prepare reports of the activities performed according to what is requested.
Control the expenses of the operations under their charge.
Ensure active participation in the execution of preparation processes.
Ensure active participation in the execution of the monitoring and quality control processes required for the process.
Ensure active participation in the execution of weighing tasks and/or recording controls in the CCLAS.
Ensure active participation in the quality system registration processes
Ensure control and supervision over assistants and operators during work tasks
Maintain the good condition of equipment, facilities, or inspection instruments for their respective preventive or corrective maintenance.
Actively ensure participation in the HSE process and other activities related to safety, health, and environment.
Guarantee compliance with the technical, operational, administrative, and quality standards and procedures applicable in their area.
Guarantee the request of consumables necessary for the execution of their operation
Ensure the proper handling of all equipment under their charge.
Ensure timely information to their immediate supervisor regarding any non-conforming product in their process.
Ensure their active participation in the detection of corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement plans
Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
Optimize the magnitude and schedule of purchases for consumables, use elements, and spare parts for the operational area under their charge.
Ensure the purchase of equipment necessary for operations
Guarantee the planning and coordination of all operational activities of the area that corresponds to them
Assign work, activity schedules, define operating parameters and instructions, and deliver them to the operators.
Guarantee the control and supervision of the personnel plant working in the operational area under their charge and control the operation expenses
Guarantee the delivery of the required technical and operational information
Optimize the control of maintenance programs and computer systems that streamline operational processes.
Verify the metrological assurance of the equipment under their charge that so requires
Ensure timely attention to any non-conforming product in their process or internal customer complaint and/or claim
Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of equipment delivered to SGS Colombia under their custody.
Ensure compliance with the safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area.
Ensure the correct use of protective elements during the execution of work
Perform monitoring reports in general Other tasks assigned that are inherent to their position.
Academic training: Chemical Engineer, Mining Engineer, or Industrial Chemist or related. Experience: two years of experience in similar positions. Technical Knowledge: Technical standards for sampling, coal preparation, and analysis Basic Office package.
