Inside Sales and Marketing Assistants (ISMA) are members of our ISM team. They assist inside sales managers in collecting documentation, generating customer quotes, entering/updating quotes and other information in CRM, updating information in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), market research, and other tasks as necessary. Specific Responsibilities:
At all times, complies with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. Generates accurate and marked quotes according to SGS standards. Assists as necessary in compiling the documentation required for RFPs: certifications, resumes, etc. Helps with follow-up notifications on older existing quotes as required by affiliate managers. Data entry of quotes and RFPs into appropriate systems (e.g., LIMS, CRM, etc.) Updates changes in customer information in the appropriate systems according to instructions. Market research or customer requests may include the following: Internet search for customer data or articles on vertical markets, regulations, etc. Lead generation: Searching for contact lists in various markets Reviewing competitor websites and summarizing information Communicates, as necessary, with ISMs and other internal personnel. Develops skills and knowledge to progress in your career. Develops confidence by providing timely responses to all inquiries, whether via Teams, email, or telephone. Promotes a positive "can-do" attitude and a safe working environment. Stays well-informed and complies with SGS procedures and standards. Takes initiative in everything we do and performs other tasks as necessary to promote the SGS mission of service, quality, and growth. Builds and maintains strong working relationships. Complies with all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
Academic Background: Professional degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related sciences; technician or technologist in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related sciences. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information effectively in individual and small group situations to customers or organization employees. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Intermediate knowledge of personal computing, including email, Microsoft Office, job task requests, Internet, online data systems.
Experience: Between 1 to 2 years of experience in similar roles or more. Technical Knowledge: Intermediate Microsoft Office. Languages: English B2 or higher.
Schedule: Monday to Friday Modality: On-site. Salary: 2,600,000 COP Contract for work or labor for 6 months initially. Option to transition to an indefinite contract depending on performance.
