Senior Lean Consultant - Continuous Improvement and International Projects (with French and English)

At SGS, we look for talent! We are selecting a Senior Lean Consultant, located in Catalonia, for the continuous improvement of national and occasionally international projects. We require you to be an engineer or graduate, with experience in the industrial sector and valuable experience in the automotive sector, especially in production and logistics processes. We are thinking of a curious person who enjoys challenges and seeks development in international continuous improvement projects. What will your functions in the team be? You will evaluate and improve processes and implement the LEAN Continuous Improvement System in the different projects you have in progress. You will develop projects, as well as define plans to implement and manage their consolidation. You will help drive business growth by searching for new opportunities. You will perform Value Stream Mapping (VSM) of industrial and administrative processes. You will lead workshops and Lean Manufacturing tools, VSM, SMED... You will implement Strategic Improvement Plans, providing support in the operational management routines of middle management. You will manage teams and also negotiate and interact with senior management and operations managers. We would love for you to be a person accustomed to managing projects, with good planning skills, results-oriented, and with analytical capacity. It is important that you like working in a team and have good communication skills.

What kind of person does the team need?

• University education, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation of an Operational Excellence System or having been a Manager of Operations, Production, or logistics in an automotive sector environment.
• Valuable to bring experience in continuous improvement of industrial processes.
• Valuable to bring experience in the automotive sector.
• Good command of French and English (Ideal C1 level)
• Knowledge of control tools, dashboards, and audits
• Data analysis capacity.
• Capable of leading Lean Manufacturing workshops and tools. VSM, SMED, etc. People management, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Availability to travel as required by the project (national-international).
