Within the Systems Certification team, we are looking for an experienced Business Developer, passionate about sales and customer relations, to support the development of our certification and audit activities with a diverse clientele. You will contribute to the promotion of our entire service portfolio in various fields such as quality, environment, health-safety, energy, information security, organizational responsibility, as well as new standards responding to regulatory developments and market expectations. Your missions Drive the commercialization of our audit, certification, and assessment offers, from prospecting to contracting and monitoring customer satisfaction. Define and implement an ambitious commercial action plan, in connection with the sales management and in coordination with the technical teams. Identify and develop new business opportunities with companies of all sizes and all sectors of activity. Ensure sustained prospecting activity in order to win new customers and develop the existing portfolio. Understand your customers' challenges and build, with SGS teams, solutions adapted to their needs for compliance, performance, and risk management. Develop and manage a network of partners, influencers, and market players to strengthen the visibility of our offers. Ensure the follow-up of your commercial opportunities, your performance indicators, and the proper transmission of files to the operational teams. Share commercial best practices and contribute to the collective dynamics of the team.
You possess proven experience in B2B business development (minimum 7 to 10 years), ideally in services, consulting, certification, audit, or any other high value-added environment. Experience in the fields of certification, conformity assessment, management systems, or business services is an asset, but not essential. You are a salesperson at heart: you know how to identify, qualify, develop, and close complex commercial opportunities with efficiency and perseverance. You have a true hunter temperament, enjoy opening new accounts, and know how to sustainably develop a client portfolio. You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to high-level decision-makers, and know how to create long-term relationships of trust. You quickly understand customer challenges and are able to build, with the support of technical teams, solutions adapted to their needs. You have a taste for challenge, exceeding your objectives, and teamwork within a demanding and evolving environment. You are able to share your commercial best practices and contribute to the skill development of less experienced employees. You are autonomous, organized, rigorous, and methodical in managing your commercial activity and your pipeline. You combine foresight, pragmatism, resilience, and reactivity in the face of market opportunities. You are customer, solution, and results-oriented, with a strong culture of commercial performance. You possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills, allowing you to develop and execute structured and effective prospecting plans. You master CRM tools and attach particular importance to the quality of commercial follow-up and the reliability of sales forecasts. You must master English, both written and spoken, and be able to operate in an international environment by interacting with English-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders.
