Business Controller

Act as a strategic partner (business partner) to the Country General Manager / Business Manager, and not solely as the country's financial reporting function. The Business Controller works side by side with the business to help manage it: ensures the preparation and analysis of financial models and accounting information under IFRS, ensures the correct recognition of revenue in accordance with IFRS 15, exercises discipline over expenses and regional allocations, monitors profitability by business line, reduces bad debt, and proactively identifies risks, process gaps, and opportunities. Their ultimate goal is to protect and improve the country's Local Contribution (LC) through two levers: controlling the lowest possible expense and maximizing the revenue line within the IFRS framework.

QUALIFICATION

• Ideally a graduate with a postgraduate degree (diplomas or master's)

EDUCATION

• Professional in the field of Accounting (mandatory), Finance, economics and/or industrial engineering with a postgraduate degree in finance

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• English Level: Advanced
• Excel (Advanced Level Required)
• Oracle Boss (Desirable), any other ERP (desirable)
• Word, Power Point, Hypperion.HFM

SKILLS

• Accounting, commercial, Interpretative and Administrative.

EXPERIENCE

• Ideally 5 years or more in a position of similar responsibility

• Knowledge of IFRS / USGAAP
