Requirements

Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Some experience with SolidWorks is required, along with an interest in engineering or manufacturing. An engineering qualification or relevant technical training would be an advantage. Good attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn. A practical attitude and an ability to get involved in different aspects of the business. Location: Monaghan area Hours: Full-time preferred; flexibility may be considered for the right candidate. We are a small engineering fabrication business looking for a practical, organised and reliable person to join us. The role will mainly involve SolidWorks drafting, estimating, preparing quotations and general office work, with some practical workshop duties when required. This is an opportunity for someone at an early stage of their career to develop technical skills, learn how an engineering business operates and take on greater responsibility over time. Duties to include - Preparing SolidWorks drawings for workshop fabrication and quotation requests. Assisting with estimating, material costing and preparing quotations. Using Microsoft Excel to maintain job records and organise information. Handling emails, customer enquiries and supplier correspondence. Assisting with purchasing, job coordination and general administration. Helping with practical tasks and occasional local collections or deliveries.
