Principal Consultant – Infrastructure Automation & AIOps

Your tasks

We're looking for a senior technologist to shape and scale infrastructure automation and AIOps capabilities for large global enterprises. You'll turn scattered automation and AI ideas into secure, supportable, reusable production services - leading as a senior individual contributor through expertise, clear recommendations and hands-on design work, not line authority.

• Build multi-year capability strategies and roadmaps for infrastructure automation and AIOps
• Maintain a transparent view of demand across infrastructure domains and recommend priorities based on service impact and operational pain
• Define product vision and measurable outcomes for cross-domain automation, and contribute directly to key designs and production-readiness reviews
• Establish reusable engineering standards: APIs, integration patterns and reference implementations
• Work through federated models - connecting engineering teams, partners, service owners and operations to resolve dependencies and drive decisions

Requirements

• 10+ years across infrastructure operations, SRE, platform engineering, IT operations or enterprise transformation
• Proven track record as a principal architect or lead product technologist in a global enterprise
• Experience taking automation or AI solutions from business case to multi-service production, including evaluation, monitoring and handover to operations
• Strong grounding in ITSM (ServiceNow preferred), observability, APIs and infrastructure-as-code
• Ability to influence senior leaders and explain complex technical choices to executives

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with agentic or generative AI in production, including governance and guardrails
• Background in energy, utilities or infrastructure
• Engineering degree; postgraduate study in AI or management
• Experience across multiple countries and regulatory environments
