EDI Integration Specialist - ERP Migration

Location: Birmingham 4 days on site min Type: Permanent Salary: £60,000-£65,000

We are working with a manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant ERP transformation. As part of this programme, they are looking for an experienced EDI Integration Specialist to take ownership of the EDI integrations that connect the business with its customers and suppliers. This is a hands-on role requiring someone comfortable working with EDI messages and ERP integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the migration of existing EDI integrations
• Manage and troubleshoot EDI data exchanged with customers, suppliers and other trading partners
• Work with EDIFACT and VDA message formats
• Create, amend and maintain EDI mappings and data transformations
• Work with XLATE within the existing environment
• Support integrations using ODEX as the EDI communication/bridge platform
• Understand existing Epicor integrations and determine how these should operate within the new SYSPRO environment
• Onboard and configure new customer and supplier EDI connections
• Test integrations and investigate mapping, formatting and data-processing issues
• Work closely with the wider ERP/project team as new sites transition
• Provide ongoing support for business-critical EDI processes

Experience required

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• Strong hands-on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience
• Experience creating or maintaining EDI mappings
• Knowledge of EDIFACT
• Knowledge of VDA formats
• Experience integrating EDI with ERP systems
• Experience working with customers, suppliers or other external trading partners
• Strong data processing and troubleshooting skills
