Description: Our client is a company specializing in digital watermarking technologies, used to protect audiovisual content against piracy and illegal redistribution. Their solutions are primarily aimed at major industry players:

  • Movie studios
  • Television channels
  • Video on Demand (VOD) platforms
  • Sports event broadcasters

The objective is to secure the broadcasting of premium content (movies, series, sporting events) by notably enabling the tracing of the origin of leaks in the event of illegal broadcasting.

Context: The company is launching a strategic project -> the creation of a Security Operation Center (SOC) dedicated to the analysis and securing of video streams.

Project Objective:

  • Guarantee high data quality
  • Effectively drive remediation to strengthen the overall security of platforms.

In this framework, you will join a team of 7 experts, in an agile, dynamic, technical, and constantly evolving environment.

As a Senior Data Engineer, the mission consists of designing and operating a data & machine learning infrastructure capable of collecting, centralizing, and correlating security signals from streaming pipelines and the cloud.

Missions:

  • Design, deploy, and operate a data & machine learning infrastructure for an advanced security platform
  • Participate in the definition of robust and scalable cloud architectures allowing for near real-time data ingestion
  • Develop and industrialize reliable data pipelines to feed BI and Machine Learning use cases
  • Structure, clean, enrich, and model data (CDN logs, DRM, piracy monitoring)
  • Design and evolve data models using a Lakehouse logic
  • Put into production, optimize, and monitor data pipelines
  • Participate in the implementation of visualization and reporting tools
  • Contribute to data governance, quality, and security
  • Work on anomaly detection issues and cross-analysis of weak signals
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and technical teams within an Agile framework
  • Participate in innovation initiatives (hackathons, technical presentations, continuous improvement)

Technical Environment:

Python, SQL, Java, Spark, AWS, Redshift, Lakehouse (Iceberg, Parquet), Airflow, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, AWS Neptune (Graph DB), OLTP, OLAP.

Location: Rennes (Cesson-Sévigné)

Remuneration: 50,000 – 60,000 Euros

Teleworking: 1 to 2 days / week

Hard Skills:

  • Good mastery of Spark as well as Java
  • Mastery of different types of databases: OLTP, OLAP, Graph
  • Solid experience with Lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, Delta Table) as well as data catalog and governance tools (Glue, Lake Formation, Polaris)
  • Experience with an orchestration tool (Airflow, Kestra, Step Functions…)
  • Very good mastery of Python, SQL, as well as Docker environments and CI/CD tools (type GitLab)
  • Significant experience in a Cloud environment, ideally on AWS
  • Good DevOps culture: Infrastructure as Code, continuous integration and deployment
