Mechanical Service Manager M/F

DESCRIPTION

Our client is a French industrial company recognized for the development of innovative technological solutions in the energy sector. In a context of strong growth in its R&D activities, it is looking for its future Mechanical Service Manager to lead the mechanical design of its products and support the development of its team.

Reporting to the R&D Director, you will manage a team of three collaborators (engineers and technician) within a department of about fifty people. You are responsible for the performance of the mechanical service, ensuring both technical excellence, the structuring of working methods, and the skill development of your teams.

You will lead mechanical design projects, from the definition of architectures to the industrialization of products, in collaboration with the battery, industrialization, quality, and purchasing teams. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through the standardization of practices, cost reduction, the capitalization of know-how, and the integration of new design tools.

This position is aimed at both an experienced manager and a mechanical engineer wishing to evolve towards a first managerial role, while maintaining a strong technical dimension.

Permanent contract (CDI) – Executive status (39h) Location: Agen Remuneration: €65,000 to €85,000 depending on profile Technical environment: CAO, mechanical dimensioning (RDM, fatigue, thermal), industrialization, PLM English: B2 level (training possible)

PROFILE SOUGHT

• Graduate of higher education in mechanics (engineering school or equivalent), you have significant experience in mechanical design within an industrial environment.
• You have initial experience in team management or technical animation and wish to evolve towards a role combining mechanical expertise and employee support.
• You master mechanical design and dimensioning methodologies (RDM, fatigue, thermal) as well as the challenges related to product industrialization.
• You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to structure an activity, and to advance a team in a context of development and innovation.
• Proficiency in a CAO/PLM environment and a professional level of English (B2) are expected.
