Founded in 2018, our client is an innovative Rennes-based start-up specializing in cloud native technologies applied to the video streaming industry.

The company develops next-generation cloud solutions that enable the streaming, securing, and monetizing of video content (Live and VOD) at a very large scale. Its technologies support major international players such as Disney, the NBA, the Olympic Games, Astro, Comcast, Tata Play, and many others.

As part of its growth, the company is strengthening its R&D team and is looking for its future QA Manager.

Your role:

Reporting to the R&D department, you will lead the quality strategy for the entire OTT platform, with particular attention paid to the SaaS portal.

As the true guarantor of the quality of delivered products, you will structure QA activities, support the team, and contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions in a demanding technological environment with high volumes.

Your objectives:

• Improve the quality and reliability of releases.
• Reduce incidents and critical bugs in production.
• Accelerate and strengthen test automation.
• Develop a shared quality culture within the teams.

• Your missions:

• Define and evolve the QA strategy.
• Manage and support the QA team.
• Structure functional, technical, and non-regression test plans.
• Develop test automation and its integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Track anomalies, prioritize quality risks, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Operations teams.

Technical environment: Python, Pytest, Playwright, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Location: Rennes (Cesson-Sévigné)

Remuneration: 50,000 - 75,000 Euros

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Proven experience in software QA, ideally with initial management experience.
• Good knowledge of testing methods: functional, API, integration, end-to-end, performance.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Playwright, FFMPEG, GitHub.
• Understanding of cloud environments, microservices, CI/CD.
• Video knowledge appreciated: HLS, DASH, encoding, transcoding, CDN, live/VOD.
• Leadership, rigor, organizational skills, and good communication.
• Technical English (Read, Written, Spoken)
