Lead Manufacturing Engineer (M/F)
Description:
We are recruiting for an industrial startup that is revolutionizing the manufacturing of critical parts for the defense, space, aerospace, and energy sectors. Its model is based on the combination of cutting-edge machine tools, automation, robotics, and its proprietary software in order to accelerate and optimize industrial production. As part of the opening of its first site in France, we are looking for its first manufacturing engineer, a true technical reference working alongside the CEO. The position combines a strong dimension of technical exchanges with clients and a key role in the construction and scaling up of the French factory. The position is particularly cross-functional: it involves both understanding the technical issues of clients and exchanging with them on their industrial challenges, as well as participating in the construction and development of the French factory. You will be the site's No. 1 engineer and will contribute directly to defining the technical standards that will accompany growth.
Your main missions
- Exchange with clients regarding their manufacturing and industrialization issues
- Answer technical questions and provide your manufacturing expertise
- Participate in discussions regarding parts, processes, and production constraints
- Support the introduction of new references into production
- Structure and improve the site's industrial processes
- Participate in technical choices related to equipment and future investments
- Contribute to the organization and scaling up of the factory
- Collaborate with international teams to deploy best industrial practices
Remuneration: €80,000 to €100,000 + depending on profile
Location: Île-de-France
Profile sought:
- Engineering degree in mechanical, production, manufacturing, or equivalent
- Experience in a demanding industrial environment (aerospace, space, defense, motorsport, precision industry...)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial challenges
- Ability to communicate with high-level technical interlocutors
- Experience in industrialization, manufacturing, or production of mechanical parts
- English is essential
- Entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, and the desire to build an ambitious industrial project
