A leading global player in industrial metrology software and 3D quality control, our client designs cutting-edge technological solutions for the most demanding sectors (aerospace, automotive, space, medical, defense).
A subsidiary of a large international industrial group and in a full acceleration phase, the company is structuring its R&D following the launch of its new software generation and the integration of new international entities.
Your tasks
As part of a new position aimed at supporting the expansion of the product portfolio and relieving the R&D Management, we are recruiting its future R&D Delivery Manager (M/F).
Within an R&D department of approximately 80 people and reporting directly to the R&D Director, you will ensure the cross-functional management of multi-product software delivery, the management of 4 R&D Project Managers, as well as the harmonization of project practices across the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
This position offers a strategic and central role, at the crossroads of technical, organizational, and change management challenges in an international context.
Your daily routine will be driven by the supervision, animation, and skill development of a team of 4 Project Managers dedicated to software product lines.
You will define, structure, and deploy a common methodological framework (software product life cycle, milestones, KPI, rituals) in order to homogenize practices and support teams through change management. As the guarantor of the predictability and quality of software deliveries, you will manage roadmaps, secure release commitments, and optimize development processes.
As a key interlocutor for multi-site coordination, you will lead steering committees and synchronize daily with internal development teams and international partners (notably in the USA and India).
Finally, you will ensure clear and structured reporting to the R&D Director and participate in strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- With higher education in computer science or engineering (Master's degree or equivalent), you have at least 8 years of professional experience in managing complex software projects, delivery management, or steering R&D programs.
- Imperatively coming from the world of software product publishing or demanding industrial environments (embedded/industrial software, medical, defense, aerospace), you master the specificities of the complete life cycle of a software product (excluding pure services/ERP integration).
- You have proven experience in management, coaching project managers, and change management (implementation of processes, Agile/hybrid methodological structuring).
- Operating in an international framework, you have fluent/bilingual English (minimum C1/B2), which is essential for daily management of meetings and interlocutors based in the USA and India.

- Remote work: Hybrid policy in effect (1 to 3 days per week depending on agreement)
- Remuneration: €55K - €65K gross annual + profit sharing
