What awaits you

• Requirements analysis, specification, programming, and validation of the embedded software for our autonomous transport robots

• Analysis and continuous optimization of the existing software architecture to increase stability, scalability, maintainability, and testability

• Conception, new development, and maintenance of software modules and communication interfaces (radio, sensors) to assistants and the control system

• Ensuring software quality using our internal test facilities

What you bring

• Training in areas such as electronics, computer science, etc., combined with several years of professional experience

• Sound specialist knowledge in embedded software development using C/C++, microcontrollers

• Proficient in handling software patterns

• Good English skills, German is an advantage

• Practical know-how in several of the mentioned areas:

** Positioning and motor control

** NFC, WiFi, LAN, and bus-based communication

** Software architecture, Object Oriented Design (OOD)

** Multi-threaded and multi-process programming

** Real-time operating systems (RTOS)

** Test-Driven Development, design, and implementation
