We are looking for a responsible and proactive professional to coordinate, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for our plant infrastructure in Costa Rica. The selected person will ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the physical facilities, managing the crew personnel and coordinating with external contractors. - Supervise and direct the maintenance crew personnel assigned to infrastructure.
- Plan and execute maintenance work on buildings: repairs of walls, floors, roofs, doors, drains, lighting, hydraulic and sanitary systems.
- Ensure the correct functioning of support systems: HVAC, pumps, extractors, auxiliary compressors, water and drainage systems.
- Coordinate work with external contractors and verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform periodic inspections of the facilities to detect failures, risks, or maintenance needs.
- Record activities in the maintenance management system (CMMS) and ensure compliance with the preventive plan.
- Manage materials, tools, and resources necessary for the crew's activities.
- Guarantee compliance with industrial safety standards, including LOTO, working at heights, and confined spaces.
- Attend to infrastructure-related emergencies and coordinate immediate corrective actions.
- Propose improvements to optimize the lifespan of the facilities and reduce operating costs.
- University student in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, civil engineering, construction, or related fields.
- No previous experience in similar positions is required, although it is valued.
- Basic knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Availability to work Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Reside in Costa Rica and have legal permission to work.
