Manufacturing and Materials Optimization Intern

Your tasks

What will your objective be? Support the analysis and optimization of resin consumption and other materials used in plastic injection molding processes, through the analysis of historical information, the standardization of recipes, and the monitoring of consumption indicators.

What activities will you perform?

• Analyze historical consumption data of resin and other materials used in plastic injection molding processes.
• Document and map the material preparation and utilization process.
• Identify variations, deviations, and opportunities to optimize raw material consumption.
• Document current processes and develop improvement proposals.
• Analyze and establish standardized material recipes and proportions for each product.
• Participate in the implementation of recipes and consumption standards.
• Develop data analysis and visualizations to monitor resin consumption.
• Follow up on indicators and improvement opportunities to optimize material use.
• Collaborate on industrialization projects and the adoption of new technologies in the plant.

Requirements

What are we looking for? Active university student from one of the following majors:

• Ingeniería Mecánica.
• Ingeniería Mecatrónica.
• Ingeniería Eléctrica o Electrónica.
• Ingeniería Industrial.

• Estimated credit completion date in December 2027 or later.
• Availability to perform professional internships for one year.
• Intermediate-advanced English.
• Intermediate Excel.
• Interest in manufacturing processes, plastic injection molding, and industrialization.

-Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree years of experience

Languages: English

Knowledge: Communication, Teamwork, Microsoft excel
