Onsite technical lead (fullstack) – fintech 1626530640-2
Important company in the fintech sector, located in Medellín, requests personnel with a minimum of 7 years of experience for its work team to hold the position of Onsite technical lead (fullstack).
Academic background: Professional in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or related careers. Postgraduate studies, master's, or doctorate related to the area will also be considered.
Specific functions:
-Design and develop backend microservices, REST API, and complex, high-performance frontend interfaces. -Lead code reviews, advise and provide mentorship to intermediate-level engineers, and translate product requirements into technical specifications. -Manage data flows using WebSockets, optimize queries in PostgreSQL, and guarantee security and data isolation standards in multi-tenant environments. -Act as the main technical point of contact during Colombia working hours for incident response in testing and production environments. -Develop and deploy code in production for trading products with real-time streaming.
Knowledge:
-English B2 or higher. -More than 7 years of professional fullstack web development experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior or Tech Lead role. -Extensive knowledge in Node.js / TypeScript (NestJS) and clean architecture or hexagonal architecture. Willingness to work in a polyglot backend environment. -Solid mastery of React + TypeScript, state management, and user interface (UI) components with high-frequency updates. -Solid experience in PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing, and migrations, and in the use of WebSockets or event-based patterns. -Experience in Fintech, trading, brokerage, or other regulated low-latency environments, preferably. Familiarity or interest in Rust, preferably. -Experience with DevOps and observability tools such as Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana, preferably. -Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams. -Availability to reside in the surroundings of Medellín or relocate, as the position is onsite.
Salary: $12.000.000 to $21.000.000 + legal benefits. Schedules: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contract type: Indefinite, with legal benefits. Workplace: El Poblado, Medellín, onsite modality.
