Deputy OHS Manager M/F

Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you are the guarantor of the deployment and continuous improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety policy across our various sites based in Africa. Possessing pedagogical values, you are a proactive force in supporting, deploying, and evaluating the safety culture across our various sites in Africa. You position yourself as a point of reference for our local correspondents, in order to enable the implementation of the safety culture through the implementation of regulatory requirements, while contributing to the overall performance of the company. Additionally, although based in Roissy CDG, you will occasionally carry out audit and assistance missions at our sites in Africa.

Main Missions:

Support local teams in the development, monitoring, and animation of their Occupational Health and Safety action plans specific to each site Ensure the alignment of site action plans with the group policy Perform monthly synthesis and progress reports of the various action plans to report to the Africa General Management and the Quality General Management Create and develop training modules and working documents necessary for the animation of the OHS culture Ensure the training of local teams in Occupational Health and Safety and OHS culture Assist local teams in the implementation and monitoring of various documents with service providers (prevention plan, single document...) Communicate regularly with all sites regarding best practices and areas for improvement and/or correction, through the sharing of experience Support African sites in the management of work accidents, near-misses, and all types of OHS incidents Monitor and support local teams regarding emergency situations, and ensure the link with the Africa General Management and the Quality General Management Set up fire evacuation schedules with the units and monitor their implementation as well as the associated action plans Consolidate, analyze, and monitor the monthly OHS dashboards of each site Support identified sites in obtaining ISO 45001 certification As part of site visits, perform technical assistance audits and monitor the associated corrective action plans.

You hold a Master's degree (food industry engineer / QHSE) and have significant initial professional experience (between 3 and 5 years) in an OHS function, ideally in a multi-site environment or in the food industry sector.
