Be sharp when necessary. Remain hospitable when possible. As a security officer in Ridderkerk, you will work at a location where safety is not an afterthought. Procedures are clear, responsibilities are significant, and your role matters every shift. At the same time, you are the first point of contact for visitors and external parties. It is precisely that combination that makes this work interesting.

What you do You will work at a high‑risk location in Ridderkerk with a 24/7 staffing model, working in shifts with 6 to 7 colleagues. This means: never alone, always collaborating with fellow security officers who know what is going on. You monitor the safety of people, resources, and processes and ensure that everything proceeds according to the applicable procedures.

The location requires alertness, but also an open attitude. Visitors must feel welcome, while you simultaneously remain sharp on risks and deviations. You switch effortlessly between control, communication, and action. Maintaining calm in unexpected situations is second nature to you.

You are part of a permanent team and report to the Contract Manager. Together, you ensure continuity, quality, and trust – towards both the client and colleagues.

Your workday No shift is exactly the same, but this is what you can expect:

• Monitoring the location and compliance with procedures
• Checking access, persons, and goods
• Identifying and professionally handling incidents
• Being the point of contact for visitors and external parties
• Working with digital systems and reports
• Collaborating with fellow security officers within the 24/7 staffing model

What we offer you

• € 2.941 – € 3.402 gross per month (36 hours p/w, cao Particuliere Beveiliging)
• Irregularity allowances of 10% to 35%
• Holiday allowances of 50% to 85%

Your profile

• You are hospitable, professional, and stress-resistant

• You have the Beveiliger 2 diploma (or equivalent)
• You work easily with digital systems
• You think proactively alongside SERIS and the client
• BHV certification held or willing to obtain this via the SERIS Academy
• Ambition to continue developing yourself is a plus
