We are looking for a Data Engineer (M/F) to work within a Cloud Data Warehouse environment under Microsoft Azure.
You will join a team working on high-stakes topics surrounding Data, Cloud, and industrialization, with a role oriented towards Data Engineering, supervision, and DevOps.
The sought-after profile must be able to intervene across the entire data processing chain, from pipeline design to deployment and supervision.
Your main missions:
- Design, develop, and orchestrate Databricks notebooks in PySpark
- Feed and exploit a Medallion architecture: Bronze / Silver / Gold
- Manipulate and optimize Parquet, Delta, and CSV formats, taking into account performance, robustness, and cost challenges
- Optimize existing notebooks and jobs
- Implement and maintain the supervision of data flows
- Monitor Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Track data quality and implement alerts and dashboards
- Participate in incident detection and resolution as well as the reliability of the Data platform
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand needs and industrialize processing
- Evolve Terraform and Jenkins infrastructure repositories
- Maintain and execute Jenkins pipelines dedicated to Data deployments and processing
- Participate in GitHub repository management: branches, PR/MR, code reviews, and Git workflows
- Contribute to the automation and dissemination of Git / CI/CD best practices
- Intervene on Cloud infrastructure topics associated with the Data platform
- Conduct opportunity studies
- Participate in innovation projects
- Produce studies, recommendations, and architecture documents
- Respond to internal requirements expressions
