Business Development Manager (M/F)
Our client, an industrial company near Ville-la-Grand (74), is looking for a Business Development Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and providing technical offers, and you must be able to analyze and recommend an action plan for customer accounts and increase the market share of the products under your responsibility.
Main missions of the position:
- Identify new profitable growth opportunities with the product portfolio among existing customers/distributors or new customers.
- Monitor the market penetration of the product range as well as its profitability (GM%)
- Propose solutions to simplify and streamline the product range
- Monitor market price evolution in cooperation with the Division Pricing department
- Provide regular updates to marketing departments on the product range
- Provide relevant technical support to Sales Compagny (sales entities) and conduct customer visits if necessary
- Support marketing departments for the update of product catalogs
- Prepare quotes for the product lines under your responsibility
- Collect information and understand the market and the competition
- Improve the competitiveness of the product portfolio through development projects
Minimum BAC+3 degree in mechanics (fluids/hydraulics is a plus) with a first experience of at least 2 years, ideally in product development, project management, and marketing.
You have knowledge of products and markets and the ability to read a technical drawing. You have analytical and organizational skills and are able to work in a multicultural environment, making timely decisions to ensure our client's image.
Furthermore, you are autonomous and results-oriented, with a strong ability to coordinate cross-functional projects across the organization (Site, BU, Division), with strong interpersonal, influence, and networking skills.
Perfect mastery of spoken and written English (C1).
