Job Description
At Septeo Hospitality Solutions, we develop StaffApp, the SaaS solution that simplifies daily life for campsites and glampings: cleaning, maintenance, team planning. It is a high-growth product, used every day in the field, and you will see the concrete impact of your work.
You will join a human-sized R&D team (4 developers, one Product Owner, one Team Lead) that has made AI a true way of working. A growing portion of the code is produced in agentic mode, and everyone is free to experiment and evolve practices.
Your mission
You will take charge of the StaffApp back-end foundation. You will design Java / Spring Boot services, ensure their quality and security, and lend a hand to the React front-end when necessary. A dedicated DevOps profile handles operations, so you can remain focused on development.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and grow StaffApp's back-end services in Java / Spring Boot.
- Influence architectural choices, alongside the team and the Product Owner.
- Make quality a reflex: automated tests, code reviews, SonarQube, and Snyk.
- Connect StaffApp to its ecosystem: Keycloak, RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS S3, Firebase.
- Participate in Scrum rituals and share your technical choices.
- Code with AI agents while maintaining control: you specify, you review, you validate.
Qualifications
Could it be you?
- You have 3 to 6 years of Java back-end experience behind you, ideally on a product or at a software publisher.
- Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Hibernate / JPA no longer have secrets for you.
- You are comfortable with PostgreSQL, from modeling to SQL queries.
- You design clear, robust, and easy-to-evolve REST APIs.
- For you, code without tests is not finished code (JUnit).
- You already code with AI and know how to challenge it: specify, review, test, and refuse what you do not understand.
- You have already worked in a Docker / Kubernetes environment.
- Scrum is familiar to you and you read technical documentation in English without difficulty.
- You enjoy teaching and know how to make yourself understood by non-technical interlocutors.
- Bonus: RabbitMQ, Redis, Keycloak, or Flutter, React / TypeScript.
Additional Information
Joining Septeo also means:
- Participating in Septeo's AI First adventure and discovering new ways of working thanks to artificial intelligence.
- Growing and thriving through a personalized training path and internal mobility opportunities.
- Living a human experience, exchanging and sharing around themed events: afterworks, sports, CSR, seminars, etc.
- Joining a collective that takes care of others and is committed to equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusion.
