Operations Executive - International Logistics

Your tasks

Main responsibilities

• Support the coordination and monitoring of maritime, air, and land import and export shipments.
• Follow up on bookings, pickups, departures, arrivals, and deliveries.
• Maintain communication with shipping lines, international agents, carriers, customs agents, and clients.
• Review and organize operational documentation: BL, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
• Support the management of revalidations, releases, and delivery scheduling.
• Maintain control of deadlines, free days, and pending items to prevent delays and additional costs.
• Update tracking systems and keep the files for each shipment complete.
• Request and review supplier invoices against authorized costs, reporting differences.
• Support the integration of costs and documentation for billing and operational closing.
• Detect incidents and communicate them promptly to the operations manager.

Requirements

We are looking for an organized person with experience in freight forwarding operations and a sense of urgency, who wants to grow professionally and progressively take on full shipment management.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding operations or international logistics.
• Technical or university studies in Comercio Exterior, Negocios Internacionales, Logística, or a related field.
• Knowledge of import, export, Incoterms, and transport documentation.
• English for reading and writing operational emails.
• Proficiency in Excel, email, and operation control systems.
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Clear communication, responsibility, and willingness to learn and take on greater responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who follows up, anticipates pending tasks, and ensures that every operation moves forward.

What we offer

The position begins as Auxiliar de Operaciones, with a development plan to advance to Ejecutivo/a de Operaciones in an estimated period of 3 to 6 months, subject to performance, learning, and the ability to manage operations autonomously.

Growth plan During the first months, you will receive guidance and take on operations of gradual complexity. Document accuracy, deadline compliance, communication with clients and suppliers, cost control, and incident resolution will be evaluated.

The goal is for you to advance to Ejecutivo/a de Operaciones between the third and sixth month, once you demonstrate the ability to coordinate shipments from start to finish with autonomy and service quality.
