We are hiring Health Care Aides *and Experienced Caregivers* for *part-time permanent *work in private senior resident homes in the community to provide various services as outlined below.

SHIFT TIMES: We offer 3 hour minimum shift, within 20 to 35 minutes of your home.

You must be a certified Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide with at a minimum of 1 year experience.

*Cover off shifts - morning/mid-day/evenings, Week day and weekend coverage needed.*

*Job Description*

The Caregiver performs services for the client as necessary to maintain the health and safety and personal comfort of the client.

Duties include:

• Monitoring and report changes in health
• Maintaining and charting online
• Mechanical lift and transfer
• Bathing, hygiene, grooming, dressing assistance
• Medication reminders
• Meal planning, preparation
• Friendly companionship
• Assistance with walking
• Perform errands and shopping
• Rides to appointments and errands
• Light housekeeping - Tidy up service

Successful candidates *must* have the following:

• *Must have a PSW/HCA certificate from a recognized college *

• *Must have a vehicle and clean driving record.*

• *Current and Clear criminal and vulnerable sector checks done (within the past 12 months) Or a wiliness to get one completed!*

• *Three verifiable work references*
